Ok everyone. I know I’m beating a dead horse(no pun). Looking to do a conversion on my coupe. Part of me wants to stay true to the roots and stick with a small block and just add a super charger. No turbo...ever!!! But realistically, a “newer” motor seems the best option. Now to the meat of the post. Coyote vs termi. I love the termi. I own one. I know what they are capable of. I know nothing of the coyote other than what people talk about. What would be the best option for my fox? I would like to hear cost vs performance opinions as well. But mainly why each option would work best. Please help me make this difficult decision.

My take on a question like this is:
Do the research, the easy way to compare is do a cost per hp analysis, I think the terminator swap will cost less per hp but that is just a guess. You likely would not have to do much to a stock block coyote/blower swap but I'm thinking more money for supporting parts.

There are many different options to get the power plant. For a termi, it would have to be an out right purchase. This would be around 7-8k for everything needed for the swap. A coyote, I can purchase a whole car on auction, copart.com, and sell off what I don’t need to minimize the burden on my wallet. Cost wise, the coyote seems more of a choice. Both can make tremendous HP on an already lite chassis. I’m reaching out to the people who have experience with one or the other and gsther their intel
