1993 Mustang Clutch Adjustment Question

I have a FRPP adjustable clutch cable.

To adjust , I know you're suppose to let out the cable untill there is some slack , and then tighten up on it untill there is zero lash, or no slack.

My clutch catches pretty close to the floor.

How much more can you tighten up on the cable to make the clutch engagement and disengagement a little higher?

Clutch is about 2-3 years old. The car is used about 2000 to3000 miles a year . And drag raced. I'm going by the instructions in this link.

Thanks for the help. I didn't install the quadrant. My car came with it already installed. I got up under there and looked. It doesn't really look like that picture, but I could barely get up in there. I'll have to take the seat out to see better.
Anyways, I tightened up some on the adjustment and now it engages about 1" to 1-1/2" inches off the floor. Pedal effort seems easier and shifting is better also.
