19's/24's

i swaped from 24's back to 19's because i was either going to buy a maf or just put the std injectors back in.
the car is out of motor at 5000 with the 19's and pulls to 6000 where i think it should with 24's
this seems a bit drastic to me

Sounds like you need to run the 24's....

yes i know, i plan to put the 24's back in.
but i thought that 19's would support like 350hp or something?

Not even close to supporting that.Why do you think for put 24's in the cobra.

Yes many have ran the 19's but that doesnt mean they are the correct size for the app.

HAHA I thought your title meant 24 inch wheels!!!! I was gonna say that is a big wheel for a Mustang!!

ok. i didnt know. this is my first fuel injected build.
do you think 24's is enough for say....300-325 hp?

24's are perfect for that range.I run 24's (technically by ford they are 25's--typeIII injectors).They are great in my combo.

19s are cooked at ~310rwhp.

I have a buddy of mine that has 308rwhp with 19#s and the a/f tails up on the other side of 5500.

Butt dyno does NOT = hp

mine is dead at 5000+
