I'm in the process of doing a drive train swap from a 1992 LX 2.3 to a 5.0. I have a donor car but it is a 1988 LX, both are coupes. Obviously I have everything I need to complete the swap. I know that between 87-93, the pin-outs and some of the wiring in the harnesses are a little different. The 88 doesn't have air mass or air bag, but the 92 does. Of course I have to change the engine harness, but do I have to change the dash harness? I've heard that some of the pin-outs are different for things such as fuel lines and tachs. I really don't want to change the dash harness because it has an air bag. But if I have to I will. Such a pain.
