1- subframe connectors on a convertible? ive looked at subframe connectors and i havent seen anything about not fitting a convertible. while i was under my vert i dont see how they will fit. all the chassis bracing covers over where the subframes would weld in or bolt in. or is the chassis bracing enough.

2- do someone make a removable 4pt roll bar and still be track legal? ive seen some cages with door braces that has a pin and the bar swings out for easy access. just curious to know if there is a setup where the plates would be welded to the chassis and roll bar would just slip on with a slide in pin. i dont see how a setup like that would be any good as far as rigidity and saftey, but i could be wrong. just curious for convertible owners that dont want to look at a roll bar with the top down.

chime in......................

On the subframes, you'll probably have to get something fabbed up custom to work with what Ford put there. As for the cage, any cage that bolts in can be unbolted. You may also want to look into cages that have low slung door bars that are easier to get over. Another idea is to go all out and weld in the through the floor style subframes that go in from the interior side, but thats a pretty big job.
