Well, a Deer decided to commit suicide while I was driving by @ 60 plus. Did about $7500 in damage to the front of my stang. I thought since I was spending so much on parts, why not put the Shelby parts on the front end? It cost about a grand more than the stock GT parts.

Anyway, then I thought, hey, it won't look right without stripes! So, I priced the stripes through ford, and every single piece, rt and left are seperate, and expen$$ive!
It would run over $2300 for both stripes in vinyl!!!

Needless to say, that is too damned much. I had them painted on, in 09 IS350 pearl white, which looks bad ass in the sun over Kona blue...

Here are the only pics I have thus far:

Looks great, but you gotta put a Pony or something where the snake is.

That area just does not lend itself to a pony... I kept it, cuz I am not trying to pass it off as a 500 or anything, it still says gt on the fenders and deck lid...although, I did buy a shelby deck lid spoiler, it just did not come in while I was painting it. I have painted it blue, but now I need to mount it, lay out stripes, remove it, paint stripes, clear it, and reinstall...

Anyway, thanks for the compliments guys, it looks sick in person. I already have a customer wanting to do the same stripes on his 2010...LOL

That's awesome. I'm one of those (maybe rare) people who just don't get the two bulging lights in the center of the GT's grill. Hideous. I much prefer the V6 and particularly the Shelby's grill. Now you've got the best of all worlds!

The look is Awesome, i am looking for a matt black stripe kit i can put on myself, i have the large Ford hood scoop and struggling to find the thick black stripe at a reasonable price, it is just a vinyl strip after all.

Enjoy the ride fella.

I think it looks great! But, I do think you should remove the "Cobra" emblem since it's really not a Mustang Cobra...and I do think the "clean" grill look is mighty fine.

A Fobra....er...Shelbra....whatever?

With that Shelby front end, you'd better have some extra jam under the hood to back up the new "attitude" the car is sporting.

Wish I could afford to add a supercharger or something...My other hobbies (and other stangs) eat too much money. For now she stays stock.

Fact is, a stock '10 gt, even with an auto is quicker than most anyhting I run into on the road.
I dont street race, so I only need the power to pass pokeys, people with faster cars are rarely pokey, so i need not be embarrased trying to out run them
