I know its not big news or anything but Evolution Performance just got their 2010 GT500 and with a 2.6 pully and tune it made 565 RWHP.
Not sure what they do stock but thats about a 110 increase for two little parts.

Seems pretty good considering most of the 05-09's are around the 520-540 mark with the same mods. Wonder what is different?

Me too. I thought the only difference between the 09 and the 10 (engine wise) was a CAI and a different tune. Must be something else to it.

No, they were around 440-450, at least the ones I've seen stock.

Yeah, I saw one that did 511 and then another do 490 so we know they are doing better then 540 stock.
I guess I just think back to my Termi and how it took a full exhaust, intake, pully, tune, MAF meter and larger intercooler to hit 450 at the wheels. Having over 550 seems impressive with a tune and pully only.

Until some more get posted on a stock 2010 I'm not buying the 511 stock. Not when the older cars were much lower. A few examples from the 500 forum of dyno results. Otherwise evo should be able to have a tune to 565 or abouts, if all else was the same. I'm not sure if I wanna spend the 1k for 565hp, when 2500 more I can have 700 plus. LOL

"Stock average 430-445 RWHP
JLT intake and tune 500-515 RWHP
Add the 2.6 pulley 525-540 RWHP"

"I made 473rwhp and 458rwtq only mod was FRPP 5GT mufflers this was SAE corrected smoothing 5."

"08 GT500 Blue/White
Bone stock 435rwhp
JLT CAI & tune 497rwhp
JLT+ 2.6 pulley + tune 532 rwhp"

"444 rwhp - stock.
559/552 rwhp/torque - 2.6 pulley, JLT CAI, ARH longtubes with Borla Stingers
6?? - TVS, 2.6 pulley, monoblade, JLT CAI, ARH longtubes with Corsa Ultimate Touring"

This one I love to see, 2010 with a Whipple 3.4 blower.
"Just made 709rwhp SAE with 3 1/8" pulley, still pump gas. All the clutch can handle, slipiping at lower rpm."

4.6 vs 5.4

Blown, just put yours on the dyno in some good weather when you get yours so we have some accurate numbers to go by from a fellow stangnetter, rather than youtube.

I dont have a decent chassis dyno local. Just engine dyno stuff. I could get numbers off a chassis, but it may or may not be very accurate. Great for knowing how mods changed things however.

It will be quite some time before I can afford another factory blown Stang.

What is different is that the 09's were rated at 500 h.p. and the 2010's are rated at 540 h.p. stock!

Ya, I get that. Most of that gain was the effect of the CAI added to the 2010 and the tuning changes. However if you did a tune/cai/pulley most still hit around 540-550rwhp.

Anyhow, its all good. I still say either they got a happy 2010 with the 565rwhp or there still is more to the story.

From what I've seen 07-09 GT500s put down:

430-450rwhp (stock)
500-520rwhp (Filter and Tune) Depending on tune
540-560rwhp (Filter, Tune, and 2.6)

I got a JLT and Evo Tune on the way, should be here tomorrow actually. I'm sooo excited. I'll post dyno numbers up when ever I get her on the dyno.

PS check out my REAL KR Hood! Test fitting before paint, found out the factory airbox does not clear the hood, hence the JLT.

Love the hood !!!! On the post about the GT500 VS Hennessy, that GT500 put 511 to the wheels. All dynos are different though, and only the Track numbers really matter anyway

The other addition besides the cai is that the 2010s have knock sensors and individual timing per cylinder in their tunes so that allows much more of an agressive tune while still staying safe.
