2011 V6 Performance Package - Worth It?

I love the sounds of the performance package on the V6 but is it worth it? I'm not going to be racing the car or anything even remotely like that but do appreciate good handling on the windy mountain roads in my area. Opinions anyone? Thanks in advance!

If I was ordering a new Sixer, this would be the first option box I'd check.

i've given this much thought and here's what i figure:

its basically the bullitt suspension which is better than the old bullit suspension which is a proven system that works. for that alone it might be questionable. then ford throws in some pretty nice wheels, a 400 dollar gear option, and (the kicker) a sport mode like the GT's. then they give you good brake pads.

ford is offering the suspension i'd put in the car with some nice wheels, pads that i'd probably choose, and gears that i'd definitely order with the car for 2 grand ($1750 invoice) so i honestly can't think of a reason not to get it.

basically if i get that pack i only need to swap out that horrible base steering wheel, get a tuner, throw on an axel back, and the car is pretty much perfect.

ya just can't beat that with a stick.

One of the reasons I went with the gt was that the 6er didn't have this package available when I was ready to buy. I would get this in a heart beat. But, then again i get a chunk of pleasure out of on ramps!
