2012 Mustang GT- 'MAY' not be available in Black

In today's paper, see below, the article says Ford is having a problem with the Black and Red colors and both may not be available in the car model you order. While the Mustang is not mentioned, might be smart to check before you order.

May be time to bring Gray back

Black is available for the Mustang in 2012....I bought a black on black GT/CS just last week

Guess I should have read the article first. It didnt mention the Mustang, but if if affected the mustang it would be for further production....which might mean that I have one of only a handful of black 12's. Righteous!

I second the vote for the return of Sterling Gray!

Or will we someday look back at 2012 as the year that 78% of Mustangs were Yellow Blaze Tri-coat Metallic.

I agree with you all that the sterling grey is a great color. I saw the lava red metallic at the dealership that they replaced the grey with and I wasnt entirely impressed. For the longest time I thought the car was black, but when you get close it has a purple metallic sheen to it. Odd in my opinion.

Lol @ yellow blaze metallic. It is a different color, thats for sure. Oddly enough I like it, although I could never see myself owning one that color.
