Ok found I a guy that wrecked his 04, has the seats front and back, they are tan so that sucks bc I’ll have to surely get them redone in black. He wants 200 for all of it. How hard is it to pop these in our cars? What would it cost to have these all re-upholstered give or take? Or should I stick with my plan of buying the black micro suede gts2 Corbeau’s minus the carpet I’ll leave my red interior other wise.

Back seat will go in but the seat bottom install isn't that clean. If you intend to actually use the seat, I'd go with the corbeaus.

You might be able to get $300-400 for the fronts and $100 for the rears.

All I'll say about sn95 seats is that they look good. I'm fortunate mine are low mileage. Other than looks...not a fan

Ok so looks yeah they look better for sure than our stock seats, like the head rest swap. So comfort you are saying is not so great? Back seat probably wouldn’t get used honestly. I think if those I posted were black I would have said let’s do it. After looking up upholstery and then having to pay someone to do it for me, think I’ll save the 200 and just wait to get the GTS 2 seat kit.

They are confirtable, but suck for any sort of spirited driving. They don't hold you at all.

But if you mostly cruise aroun like me, they are damn comfortable to sit in

I was able to get these 2016 cloth Mustang seats into my ‘88 notch. Hold you into the car nicely and only cost me $200. The last photo shows the actual bars welded in place. Had to redo them because they needed to be 14” apart. But after it all they went in without a problem. The support is 10x better than the stockers.

Mine came out of a 2016 v6 mustang. Those leather ones are nice too. Got them off of Letgo. If anybody needs a pair of grey pleather seat out of my old fox let me know. I’m selling them on Letgo as well for only $300. Anybody on the forum want them I’ll do $200 for you guys. I’m out in Queens NY 11368 area code.

Do you have any write up on how you did this? Not sure what exactly you did and what tracks did you put these on? Might make this guy with the leather 2016 ecoboost seats an offer just want to know what I’d be getting into work wise

Not a great describer but I’ll give it my best:

I’d make the offer if I was you. I bought mine with out even thinking about it. I cut off all the metal (with a grinder) and wiring harnesses (sold on eBay because it’s all new gear under there and was able to make a few bucks back) underneath. A friend of mine welded 3/4 inch boxed tubing (so you can secure with but and bolt through the tubing underneath). Used my factory seat tracks to secure the seats, measuring from bolt hole to bolt hole that secures the seat tracks to the actual seat of the car which measure 13 3/4” square. The boxed tubing has to be welded as far out as possible under the seat to get proper alignment under the seat to bolt it all up. I made the mistake and had to have it taken off and welded again. If your able to use shorter tubing then do so because I used taller and I was banging my head on the roof liner in my car. I’m 6’1” so the 3/4” was good enough for me. Good luck guys. I hope this helped and if I can get more specific for anybody hit me up. I’m not great and explaining so bear with me.

I put in a set of 2013 GT seats in mine. Below is the link to my thread of how to install them.

Awesome man kinda skimmed through it but will read it over again. So a couple of questions. Are the ones I’m looking at the 2016s any different base wise than those 2013s? Can the power lumbar etc on these some how still be used or is the wiring for all that just off and won’t connect to ours? Instead of using our stock tracks can I use these tracks from lmr? 54F58017-B14C-4957-AE9E-E59806181995.jpeg

I believe the base is a little different 2015+ when they change the model to the S550 style, but dont think its that much of a difference. It would take a fair amount of customization to get the power lumber to work. Anything can be done, and if you have already have power lumber there is a plug under the seat you can use to power the seat. In regards to those seat brackets, they should be able to be used, but be comfortable of needing to customize the mounting of the seat to the tracks. There is no guarantee that the mounting holes will in at a location to bolt them together. You may need to run a peice of flat stock from front to back to hit a location on the seat bottom to bolt them together.
