hey yall. i have a question that yall might have some input on. i have a set of above mentioned tires mounted on my 8 inch weld draglites and last weekend i bought a new pair of stock replacement shocks as my old ones were shot. anyway these thing are friggin huge compared to my old 265 cooper cobras...terrible tires by the way. but the traction from these monsters is awesome :D my question is this. Does anyone else have these tires and if so do they cause any rubbing problems? mine scrub the fender lip just a tad when i go full throttle from a start or so i suppose...the paint is gone from the spot the tire hits... :bang: ....thats how i could tell. anyway rolling the fender lip wont help me as they are as wide as the ouside of the fender anyway. any ideas what i can do to help this...or actually stop it? i have stock springs that have never been changed since ive had the car so maybe a set of those moroso drag springs that i was reading about in another thread here would help. the car is driven everyday so it has to be safe and reliable. thanx for any suggestions.later yall.

your wheels must have less then 5.5 inches of backspacing because i just put 275/50-15 nitto drag radials on my 15x8 inch draglites with 5.5" of backspacing and had alot of room at the fender lip. i dont think there would really be any way to fix this.

Maybe if you got them cheap spring helpers and put the in your rear coils springs up high. That will stiffin up the rear end and maybe not rub.It might lift the rear dependin on how many you need or where you place them.Put them in same place on both sides.
