Hi all I am planning on getting a supercharger (distant future) but am going to upgrade my gears very shortly. I am wondering whether the 3.55 or 3.73's are more suitable for a sc? I have a manual btw.
I'd go for the 3.73's as well, but you probably get better gas mileage with the 3.55's. I guess you would just have to weigh the fun to gas mileage ratio and so what you come up with. Either way you go, they are so much better than the stock gears.
if your car is lightweight or you are planning a bunch of mods to drop weight 3:55 is fine.......i dont like 3:73 in most stangs cause 1st gear is so damn short.
