3.73 gears for Cobra

Anyone have an idea how much it would cost to have gears put into my Cobra? I really need these gears b/c my car sucks w/out them. I know gears range anywhere from $140-200. Do I need a rebuild kit for my stock 8.8? My car is a 1995 Cobra and it needs to be faster--please help.

it is about 4-5 hours labor.

i'm taking my 3.73s out in about a month (going back to 3.27s). pm me if you are interested in them

i paid $275 labor, which included axle seals and bearing installed. iw ould say you might as well get the rebuild kit and axle seals/bearings. i need to get some in my new car as well, good luck

yeah, redo all that stuff while it is open and then you don't have to worry about it anymore
