Shouldn't an 89 mustange hatch with 3.55's, 27" slicks a trans brake with 4500 stall converter that had apparently 600hp run faster than a 12 at 120mph? It was a 306 with a charger.

I know some one who got a 90 hatchback, /supercharged with 600 hp he was running 12,22 at 118 on street tire. i dont have to say that he had ZERO traction..
Depending on the weight of the car and altitude. Also there a lot of other factors to decide if the car was setup perfect for that combo......sounds like it wasn't.
There is a lot more to going fast than just HP. There is the torque curve, amound of torque, the gearing, the transmission, the differential, driver, and how the suspension plants the power, as well as how the tires stick.
Dunno, I know a guy with a highly modified '99 Cobra with a Procharger who launched at 6K and ran 11.4 @ 121... So yeah, low 11s if the car has a good driver...
That guy was putting down a little over 500 RWHP...
Altitude has little/no effect on a supercharged car. Rather than relying on a vacuum as a pressure differential, the supercharger has pressure forcing air into the cylinders.
