315 tires on 97 mustang

Hey,

Is anyone here running 315 tires on a 96-98 mustang? Have you had difficulties with the tire touching on the exhaust?

I'm looking into possibly getting some wider 17" tires for the back, but I know that not all tires will fit because of limited space between the exhaust and tires.

my dad runs 315s on his cobra, no problems.

I use 315 BFG's for the track, those things are HUGE. I don't have any problems.

94-98 and 99-04 cars have the same chassis, so fitment issues are usually the same across the board.

My friend has 18x12s on 335 tires with no issues to my amasement.

I have a 98 gt with 315/35/17 on the rear and 275/40/17 on the front only problem I had was the rear driver side tire rubbed the quad slightly. I bought a 7/32 spacer and now everything is fine. Looks awesome from the back. I'll try to get some pics someday this week.
