351W in a 89 Fox.. Lots of questions

the victor 5.8 intake i run is great.i used aftermarket fuel rails as well cause my friend did the swap to and modified the stockers with high pressure fuel line and hose clamps and at 45psi they kept popping off.spend the money its not worth the engine fire.

Well we all have different opinions. I would personally rather buy a new set of fuel rails.

Anywhere near the 400rwhp mark is what im looking for. The engine wont be too radical.. as im on a budget.. so we'll see how it goes. Now im busy reinforcing the rear end and body.

Any happen to have installed their own upper torque boxes? How long of a drill bit did you need? I tried installing my UPR'S and my drill bit was much too short to go through the floor.

wtf CA swap laws..

So you cant swap 351w legally in CA? so insead of the doing a 351w swap, can I legally stroke a 302 to a 331? Im sure they wont tell that its a stroker. I think it will be hard to select a Ca emissions legal cam with EO#'s for a 331 stroker, any thoughts on this?

By my interpretation... the last time I read the 'rules'...

A newer motor can be swapped in. Any motor from a newer than 1990 is a candidate (assuming you have a 1990 Mustang...).

That is by the rules...

Will anyone notice if you do the swap right?... NO.

If you have to pass CA emissions, then the first thing you should be doing is finding the emissions regulations for your state.
