Ok guys i have a 96 351w with like 60k on it i am planning on putting it in my 91 coupe. It will be a street car. I want to run 11's with a little nitrous.it is going to be carburated. what hci and carb do you recommend? not sure what trans yet but probably built c4. any advice will help
I'm sure someone will chip in if I am wrong but I think a 351W with stock lower end and nice HCI well matched with a built c-4/good stall will put you in the 11s na. Lots of heads to choose from, afr, edelbrock etc, use a good cam grinder and listen to his advice and you will be very happy with it. Decent sized squeeze should put you in the 10s. Of course you will need to be able to put the power down so suspension mods needed. Serious subframe connectors, torque boxes beefed up, gears and maybe stronger axles, that kind of stuff.
