393 Stroker

Does everyone agree that using AFR 205's would be better than the 185's for a street 393 engine buidup for a 70 Mustang? If so, I will use the Victor Jr. intake along with a Demon 750 carb. The cam specs will probably be around 246/586. I will have Ed Curtis custom grind a cam for me. I will let him determine what would be best. I am about to make the purchase and want to feel comfortable that I won't go wrong with the parts. Thanks.

Sounds good to me. Airflow Research state the 205s are good for 331 - 392 from 3500 to 8000 rpm, which to me means that it will handle a 392 at 8000rpm and for 331 will give power starting at 3500. This means the 392 will have a better time down low, so 2500 or so up.
