I always said I would be one to leave my Mustang stock besides adding dual exhaust. I just love the sound. Then I decided to go with a CAI (BBK from AM) and now I'm hooked. I'm looking for some new bolt on performance upgrades outside of a tune which is already in the works. All I have right now is the BBK CAI and MAC axle-back true duals. Any suggestions? Supercharger is out of the question for now.

That might be an option. I've seen threads that list gears, underdrive pulleys, cams and some others but I didn't know what would give me the most bang for the buck.

If you don't already have an LSD (my v6 doesn't), then new gears would give you that, plus better off-the-line acceleration. An under drive pulley is common too, but haven't seen or heard of anything personally about it's power gains. Both aren't too expensive, but can take a little effort to do.

Yeah, my v6 doesn't have the LSD either. I'm thinking about going with 4.10 gears. I'm just now starting to do the work and stuff to my own car. Would this be something that I can do myself or would it be better to have a professional install?

You could do it yourself, but I personally would probably let a pro do it. Just to know it's done right and to make it easy for me. It's not a big job to pay someone to do.
