Got the Motive 4:10s going in the stang in the morning.....Wont have my chip cus Mod Depot f'd up my order and UPS shipping so far has sucked balls in the past 5 hrs. I had the chip shipped overnight and they delayed/rescheduled it so I'm pissed b/c I have the auto tranny and im sure the ride home will be woondeerrfuull. (BTW can I get money back from UPS since it hasnt gotten here?) Oh well I cant wait.....Got gears and install kit for 190 and install for 125 "hooah." To make this thread not get moved would it be alright if I give it a lil gas once on the way home at like 40 just to test them out? I cant wait and I'll let you all know how it goes!

Ask the shop but I played with mine a little when I left the shop. Just don't do it too much. Some say you need to let them break in and some say take it to the track directly from the shop. I took it easy for a few hundred just in case.

When I had the rear-end rebuilt because I blew the bearings the Ford Dealership told me not to push it too hard for the first 200-300 miles to make sure that everything had settled completely, so I imagine it would be the same story with new gears.
