Alright, I just took my 5 mile ride back from the shop with the 4.10's in... If I was to tell you that I didn't scream like a little school girl when that thing shifted...[ no, left a 5 foot patch of rubber behind me.]... I'd be lying.

Holy shyt.

I payed 140 for the gears, $3 for the ford posi additive, $6 for 2 qts of 80-90, and 135 for the install. The mechanic provided the installation kit which for $135 I found awesome.

I stuck with 3.73s A little game I used to like to play with ricers when i had my stock gears in would be, at a light let the ricer make the first move so when green hits, i would stick it in first and usually right around when im hitting 3000 rpm is often the point where they gas it to look cool, and as we know 3000 is a very torque friendly rpm, and i would gas it and rape the rice rocket. Unfortunately I can't do that with the 3.73s. It's almost too much torque in first and first is too short but godamn i love it come second gear up. I'm glad I didn't get 4.10s though because it wasn't for me.

when I had my old 87 gt auto, I switched out the stall and a set of 4.10's, and it felt like a completely different car. I had a choice to go 3.73 w/my 95 , but I'm glad I went 4.10's.

Glad you are having fun!! My case is different I guess b/c I am spinning now with 3.55's! I though I chose the wrong rear end until my car started making more power. Now I am glad b/c I have a lot more power to put in it.

I didn't buy a v8 for gas mileage... I knew that it would suck.

They didn't change my mileage at all. I probably get mid-20 mpg on the highway. But, you probably need to find whatever is causing yours to suck right now before making another change. Probably need to get a tune, thanks to your cam.

is shifter vibration caused by the driveshaft, people say adding gears makes it worse so its nice to get an alum driveshaft that is well balanced? because my car at above 5000rpm feels like its going to drop somthing, lol , thats how bad the vibrations are in mine and i have stock gears
