I just finished breaking in my rear end, I swapped out the 3.73's with 4.10's because my posi wasn't working and damn 4.10s are the **** but the shorter gears take a little gettin used to. Only my right wheel would burn out and I found it out last time I went to the track and got a 13.8@102 with 60' times between 2.3-2.4. I was stoked I was able to get up to Sacramento Raceway to try again before winter and this trip was way last minute and it turned out nicely, I should have taken out my sub and spare and had less gas lol but I was already late from traffic. The only thing I didnt get was that none of my slips had the 60' time, it should have been in the I1 row but it was blank for some reason. I was able to get 3 runs in and I got

I1
I2 5.837 5.821 5.785
I3 8.842 8.701 8.778
I3mph 83.639 83.234 83.214
I4 11.407 11.372 11.337
E.T 13.561 13.520 13.488
mph 107.514 107.997 107.777

I wasnt sure what the I2 and I4s were but I was happy with what I got without seeing the 60' times and considering I was running the stock bullitts with the nitto 555 street tires. Are those times decent for what I have? I thought I was launching well but I couldn't really tell, I'm guessing some street radials or wider tires would help lower those times some what do you guys think?

107mph is trapping good for your mods, especially with a smaller cam set.

Nice runs! Time for some tires! More than likely, your MPH will drop a bit once you start hooking up. Should be good for some 12's!

Tires are definitely on the to do list before I go to the track again, I couldn't launch too high or the tires would spin a bit. I still have stock axles would they hold up to the Nitto 555r's or the new nitto DR?

yea im pretty happy with that trap hopefully an intake manifold could help that out a bit too or I was considering running E85, I think it'd be worth a try with its higher octane and cheap price

I've actually watched a stock GT break an axle with street tires. However, I have run both bfg and many set's of nittos in 2v cars, and have never broke any part of the rear end with a couple hundred passes.
