4.10's X-pipe or Catback?

Which would give the best performance? In other words 3 99GT's same mods except one has a Magna flow or SLP catted x, the other has a Magna flow or SLP catback and the 3rd car has 4.10's. Note: My car already has 3.73's :notnice: so where talking about a .37 change instead of a .83 if I had 3.27's. All that being said, which car is the winner in the 1/4 and the 1/8?
Thanks in advance for everyones input.

Thanks

:nice: Thanks for the quick responses. I thought the x-pipe would be the way to go but felt safer just getting some input from those with more mod knowledge. Now that that's settled, what the best x-pipe to go with? SLP Magna flow etc...

magnaflow has been making products for mustangs for longer. They all have a different patented "X" design. I have the magnaflow and it is verrrrrry smooth sounding, no rasp, which was important for me. I noticed the power increase as well. The cats that come on magnaflow's are very sturdy and high quality.. haven't heard of any failing yet, unlike some other cats that come on other x pipes.

I would put a mid pipe on it since you already have gears...if you still have stock mufflers you wont notice much difference with the mid pipe..I dont advise you to get a cat back, not much "bang for your buck" there. Just replace the stock mufflers with you choice of High flow mufflers and then get the mid pipe. I like my flowmasters, however they arent the best for flow- they are a little restrictive. You should notice some big gains there!
