All,

Thanks very much for all of your comments and experience. It helps a lot to hear from those who have "been there and done that".

I hoped that people on this board would educate me in a hurry, and you did!

Thanks again.

If I were in your shoes and looking for a stang for a teenager I would just get a 5.0 stang. He's just gonna end up throwing gobs of money into it anyways... both cars have potential to kill you and others... chances are he will end up like me... swapping EVERYTHING on the car up to aftermarket 5.0 parts and then now looking for a 5.0 motor to toss in it. People in my mustang club (www.wildhorsesclub.com --- shameless plug!) have bought 93 GT's for like $2700... with longtubes and flows and other mild mods... It would be a better step in the right direction. Plus you said you were already familiar with the 5.0... its just the right thing to do...

Hey Ka0tyk, Hi, if I read your tread correctly, you're looking for a 5.0 engine. I have one available in Orange County. call me 714-356-0449 or email me at crivera@tccredit.com. I don't check pm very much
