4cyl notch swap to v8

I'm thinking about buying a silver 91 notch thats straight making it a v8 car. I was just wondering how time consuming and costly this is going to be? I was thinking while I had it apart I could smooth the engine bay and painting the car as I want a silver car it wouldn't be challenging. Then also doing sn95 brakes with maybe trying to attempt abs system. I'm just wondering if its going to be worth it or should I just suck it up and buy a 5.0 coupe. Also, I'm going fuel injected so wiring info will be helpful. I've taking virtually every part of these cars apart in v8 form.

Any feedback preferably from somebody that has completed or helped extensively.

I just did this in my car. It took me and a friend 4 months of working on the weekends to get it in. I did however use a carbed motor, the motor was carbed when I got it so I stuck with that route to save myself money. Yes it was a lot of hard work and I did learn alot, was my first time doing anything like this. I did make mistakes and it did cost me money but it was all worth it after that first drive!

i got about 4k in my coupe. with the original price of the donor car that was loaded with good aftermarket stuff.

i wouldnt have it anyother way. some cheap v8 cars, that never had subframes put in, flex alot. thats the first thing i always do. my coupe is very solid so to speak, also put a strut tower brace in it and that helps. the torque factor is what kills these cars, that and teenage kids.
a guy could go on for days, but ifyou can find a solid project banger than id say go for it
