4cyl notch worth 1,300.00??

i have a chance to pick up this 92 lx 4cyl 5sp notch for 1300, is it worth it? is buying it to covert to v8 really worth it?

if i get it, since its from craigslist and you can find about anything you need on there, im going to title this build project craiglist. all parts going on car has to come from craigslist, maybe even throw a 96-98 cobra motor in it.. lol

I wouldnt pay more than 800 for that car. honestly unless you already have everything for the swap laying around it wont be worth it.

motor/tranny if youre lucky. rear end is garbage. gonna have to pay to get rid of it.

Is it a runner? All the interior there? is there any rust in the trunk or shock towers?

I paid $800 for my 4 cylinder notch on craigslist, it was a roller. But It came with the 4 banger engine and trans that I sold off.

If I were in your shoes, I would offer him no more than $900. Because remember, it doesn't matter to you how well it runs, the drivetrain all gets swapped.
