Im looking to pull the t56 out of my 99 SRA cobra and go auto instead of building t56 only to go auto down the road anyways. First off I plan on going fmvb with a trans brake so It won't need to be automatically controlled, so what will I need to make the swap. Also I'm currently running 4.10 gears on a 100-150 shot and plan to go turbo in the near future. Doing some reading it's made to seem as though it'll be tough making a full 1/4 mile pass with 4.10s and staying out of o/d which you're not supposed to use under WOT. I am planning on having freddy brown do the transmission. Sorry for any obvious or stupid questions, I'm new to the auto thing.

One of the Mega builders on here ( @CarMichael Angelo ) has a 4R70W that is full manual- I’m pretty sure it’s a Transgo kit that uses a vacuum modulator to replace the computer control- then you wire up some switches for Od and Tc lock up .
I’m not sure how you are tuning the car,but I would guess you could disable or correct for the transmission change in the software.
Edit here’s the kit-http://www.transgo.com/products.php?category_id=76&parent_id=30&product_id=132

Just buy a trans brake manual vb, if you're using a reputable builder he'll know what to do/ recommend. If you're building a drag car,..( and if you're gonna have a TB VB you are), you should look at a different transmission ( like a C-4) where you can Gear the car for the turbo and not worry about keeping it out if OD.
