Was hoping some of you would have some ideas for me. This has been driving me crazy...
I've got a gremlin that's hard to describe. Maybe a stumble/hesitation... Basically, when I goose the throttle he gets up to about 4000 rpm and then can't seem to get past it. But when I increase RPM gradually there's no problem.
I've done all sorts of diagnostics and tried different things, but nothing has seemed to affect it.
Trouble codes - 82, 85, 33, 44, 94
He's a racecar, so I'm ignoring 82, 44, and 94. Might hook the charcoal canister back up for fun (85), and will clean the EGR and hopefully the 33 will go away.
I've got a big cam, aluminum heads, bigger intake & exhaust, bigger MAF & injectors to match, etc, etc. But the thing is, I had changed nothing and he was running great before this started. The only thing I did was move. Something must have broken or went bad.
Any ideas would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
maryanne
