5.0 Motor....confused need some advice

whats up guys..this might have been posted b4 but i couldnt find ne thing...i have a 88 mustang 5.0 but it seems to have a 94 5.0 motor in it since i just changed a water pump an it was a 94-95 style pump..but ne ways..im lookin to put a set of gt40s on it an trick flow upper an lower.but im a lil lost..will the gt 40s an trick flow upper kit work on that block?? will i run into ne problems.?? im thinking all the 5.0 blocks are pretty much the same an it should all bolt but i just want some advice b4 i go an start orderin parts..can i just get the 87-93 intakes an gt40 heads?

thanks for the reply guys i wasnt to sure b.c i kno 94-95 models they say i need a throttle body spacer n such for the intake but i dont see y if im gunna use the gt40 heads an trick flow upper an lowers.. but i will post pics here soon of the motor

The 94-95 only uses the elbow because of the space in the engine bay. You have it in a fox body. You don't need the elbow.

The major difference is the accessories and the way the EGR is routed on the SN95 5.0.
