Hi guys,

I'm converting my 3.3L L6 Mustang to a 5.0...

Found a really nice local deal... Running engine, T5, all transmission parts (clutch, bell housing, etc), drive shaft, and rear end. Also got a radiator, A9L computer, and the complete EFI harness.

I have several questions...

As for the wiring harness... Which parts will I be safe to cut out...?

Next up, is the belt... I have a non-a/c, manual steering car. The previous owner has already installed an EGR delete kit and has removed the smog equipment. So I have no need for the A/C, smog, and power steering pumps. What would be the best way to go about eliminating all of this?

I'm sure there are a few other things, but I can't think of them at the moment...

Thanks,
Dave

Check out Ford Racing Performance Parts ( http://www.fordracingparts.com/ ) for ideas on the swap and kits to reduce the number of unused/unneeded pumps and parts. They will have the relocation and idler pulley kits you need. You can visit the site (a little slow to load pages) or download the catalog and PDF viewer and browse it offline (much faster) at you convenience.
