5.0 xx lower intake

does anyone know anything about the XX intake that was used on crate motors from ford.I was told that this intake has bigger ports and have more meat on the runners for further porting.I have never heard of this intake but if anyone can give me a little information on it i would appriciate it alot.thanks

is it a ford intake? If not who makes it?

yes it is a ford intake and looks identical to a stock 5.0 lower.I was told that it came off of a ford crate motor but has bigger ports etc.,and i was trying to find out the port size if anyone has heard of it because im trying to gain a little top end and i was wondering if it was comperable to a tmoss lower.

Nope, were does the "XX" appear on the intake? Is it an EFI intake?
