the 94-04 version is a 13mm offset with 5 and 3/8" backspace. the 05 version has a 35mm offset and 6 and 1/8" backspacing. they are both 18x8.5" rims.

It has the possibility of working out, but i can't give you a 100% straight answer. Honestly, you are going to have to see if you can get your hands on one of these wheels and test fit it or just take the gamble and buy a wheel and test it and if it doesn't work, sell it.

But those numbers could work out very well

alright, hmm i havent really heard of anyone running a set up like this before either. but i only have to worry about the offset in the back if its a 9" wheel right? a 17x8 will work fine with the lincoln rear axles?

I have seen pics of SVO Mustangs with ford 17x8 wheels and it looked like they fit fine.

S197 wheels do fit the rear perfectly. I saw an SVO today with some '05 17" wheels and the rear was perfect.

A while back, i contemplated running S197 rear/SN95 front wheels because i wanted to run a 9" wheel but using Sn95 offset out back. All the math said it would work, but i never bought a wheel to test it out

what math? im really curious about doing these offsets. or im gonna get some 95 cobra wheels just to run right now so i can get some wider tires. is there any way to up the stopping power of the svo set up? or is the only way to swap to cobra brakes?

SVO brakes are really the best of the Fox style brakes. Only way to improve them is either the SN95 99-04 GT brakes or the cobra brakes.

By math, i meant figuring out how the offsets and backspacing of the wheels would work in relation to the track of the axle. WHen i did my figuring, it seemed to work.

Here's the thread i used.

see if that is of any help to you
