50oz or 28oz??

I've got the car shown in my sig with a stock 91 engine in it. Its got an AOD in it now. Im trying to figure out how I can tell what weight accessories I have. I've got a complete 5 spd conversion on the way thats used but I want to make sure im installing the proper parts. Is there any way to tell what came off the car or how to tell what flywheel the conversion kits came with? Thanks.

The stock flywheel and balancer should be 50oz.

How can you tell by looking at them if you even can? Is there a bigger counter weight on the back of a 50oz flywheel than the 28oz or vice versa?

I don't think you can tell the difference by sight. The key to remember is that if the engine is stock it will use a 50oz counter weight flywheel.

the 351w use a 28 oz. it is because of the fact for uses a internal and external way of balancing. funny thing on a 440 chrysler a forged crank in internal and a cast crank is external so the same engine with different cranks changes the harmonic and flywheels needed.
