50s song stuck in my head....help

I heard an instrumental song at the end of the movie Labamba, they played it when Ritchie died. It sounds sad. My dad thought it was by the Ventures, it doesn't appear to be on the soundtrack.


Any body know the name of the song?????

never mind, makes sense that it was by Ritchie Valens.....Sleepwalk.

Ritchie Valens may have played it, but it was originally done by Johnny Farina of Santo and Johnny.
The Ventures did release a version of it also.
