Alright guys, Im looking for feed back on anyone who is getting good 60' times on a stock or very near stock suspension. I just bought a 92 LX hatch to put my Dart motor into instead of my vert. After a few more needed parts and tune Im not going to have much left over. Right now the suspension is in stock 5.0 condition. I have the stock pony wheels to work with. I will be buying MT 255 DR's to run on. On my 1 1/2" lowered vert with Nitto DR's I was able to get 1.8 60' times ( off idle launch ) on a regular basis. Im looking to be able to get at least 1.7's with the stock suspension on the LX. Will the MT DR's with 4:10 gears get me there. I will be putting SF connectors on also although Im not sure which brand. I was thinking of getting MM full length connectors. I know there where a couple of guys on the board that said they had bests of 1.6's on stock set ups. Let me know what you think or give some advice. Im not sure if I want to commit to a full drag style suspension or not yet.

the only thing not stock on mine is the eibach sportline springs and removed quad shocks....still have the original shocks/struts, lca's, ect. The 60' time in my sig was cut on 255-50-16 bfg dr's on my 95 that is. So i'm sure it's doable...i'm still stock weight as well, with me that day the car weighted 3515 and i'm 165, so it is 3350 without me.

Take the front sway bar off. That makes a huge difference.

Fastest i've ever gone on mine is a 2.0 flat with crappy street tires, but i've got Eibach Pro Kit springs (which in all reality probably hurt me more than help).

Back in the day guys were cutting 1.5s on stock suspension and I do agree...

Stock suspension and stock location of the suspension are so much different.

I ran 2.56's with the BFGs street tires on it and then ran 1.72's witht the slicks on stock control arms. I did have 50/50 lakewood drag shocks in the back and subframes welded in. I dry hopped the tires to clean them did want to blow the rear and left at 4500 with 8 psi in the tires. Spun the slicks so could only get 13.7s at 104mph but now the full suspension is in and the 11s are in view.
