I was watching the barret jackson auction yesterday and the shelby sold for 600K. This will be the first shelby sold to the public. For 600K you get to go to the factory to watch it being built. Crazy.

Does anyone know who the winning bidder was? I had heard some rumors that Jay Leno was going to buy the car, but, I don't remember seeing him when they televised the auction on Speed Channel. In fact, I don't remember them showing any one person who actually won the bidding. Then again, maybe I was just in shock by the $600K winning bid and didn't pay attention.
