I live in Florida and have no need for the heater in my 65. Also I want to avoid the possibility of a core or hose leak while driving and to visually clean up the engine bay. What is the best way to bypass/remove the two heater hoses at the engine block. Is there a specially shaped hose to loop around at the engine block that is available for this application.
Thanks for any info
Woody

threaded plug for manifold and rubber cap for thermostat housing. Leave small 90 degree hose installed.

Thanks for the reply I appreciate it. Any idea what size plug/threads and is the rubber cap a part that is sold somewhere. I want to be sure the cap is the proper thickness as not to blow it out. Is there a hose deletion kit that is sold. Any input is appreciated
Thanks
Woody

Many mustang suppliers carry the plug and cap as they were stock on factory heater delete cars
