Remember when you get gears, you need to get your speedo re calibrated with the Speedcal or a chip. The speed cal is a little less then $150 last I checked.

A chip is typically one of the last mods you want to do, like the icing on the cake (so everything can be tuned, it's almost wasting money if you do it to early).

Gears is a good route, but I'd stick with exhaust and intake, pullies (the basic stuff) until your next round. I'm in the same boat, waiting for my next paycheck eagerly. :-D

dam thats the best info ive read so far thanks man.. i think gears and some intake stuff is definetly what im going with.. thanks Tylerb59..

gears + tires
or save for the supercharger

I spent um... a ton of money on bolt ons and only have 255rwhp, I would go back and save for a supercharger if I could.

Nitrous, I think is the obvious option most bang for the buck right in your price range. First thing I bought for my virtually stock 96 GT for 500 bucks brand new got Edelbrock 80 shot system took full second off ET
