Let me see what I have left... I got tired of nobody wanting any of it and started throwing it away....
I will check tomorrow

Getting beat up by the machine shop. 2nd block turned out to be worse shape so they sleeved the first one, they are getting ready to assembly the shortblock now. Based on the price for everything I should have just bought a crate motor! I am also considering just having them assemble the longblock and be done with it.

If you have an engine stand this is the fun part.. All of the parts are clean or new.... ..... AND its how you learn

I do have a stand but time is my biggest issue, between family and work I am finding less and less time to work on the car. The shop quoted me $500 to complete the long block so I will likely take them up on that so I am ready for spring! Still have to finish brake lines, Hyrdo clutch, and fuel lines.

What recommendation does everyone have a carb? Looking at Eddy AVS2 500, AVS2 650, or the 1406 600CFM.

Couple of question:
1. water pump rotation. I am only going to be running an alternator, going to upgrade to a 3g and electric fan, with that what direction waterpump should I get? I was hoping to use a serpentine belt and the standard rotation pump I already have.

2. Distributor. looking at going duraspark since its a roller block. Looking at this distributor: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=4752945&cc=1430161&pt=7108&jsn=984 anyone know if this is a decent distributor?

Ordered a AVS2 500CFM carb today, was able to get it $110 off list due to the holiday.

Picked up a used edlebrock 289 performer manifold for cheap, wishing I would've just gotten the RPM when it was on sale yesterday.

Brake lines showed up today so I hope to get started on that this weekend, below is what I think I have left.
- Finish Hydro clutch install
- Install brake booster and lines, then get the brakes bleed
- Reinstall the interior that I took off to get room for the clutch install
- Install fuel lines and pump
- Grease all my new steering components
- wait for engine from the machine shop, install, and enjoy (hopefully)

Edit: Since the kit came with the car and the previous owner lost a lot of the parts it has been difficult to piece together but I think I found the MC on speedwaymotors, the 4 ports are just universal and one side should be plugged which is what I will do.

Working on the brakes this weekend and noticed my master cylinder has x4 3/8 ports, 2 on each side. I was planning on doing a proportioning block but with the 4 ports the master should have front and rear circuits no? or can I plug one side and just run the prop block.

I ended up getting Mustang Steves roller bearing kit for my clutch, I had them send me a completed unit in exchange for my current. I have not sworn so much working on a car before, took that thing in and out to many times to count now. If you get the kit either send yours in or install it yourself.

Once I get that installed then my clutch and brakes will be done.

Edit the issue is with the power brake bracket no bolts no longer line up, think I am going to have to send back to MS as it does look pretty far off compared to the unit I took out.
