Ive got a 67 and have stripped it down to almost nothing. Just the drivers floor pan to go and the master cylinder.
I decided to keep the original guage cluster pod, but it needs some serious freshening up.
What is the best way to clean it up or strip it without gouging it too bad from sand paper?
Also I measured, and the holes seem off for after market guages, so is cutting going to have to be done or is thier some out their that are an exact fit.
Also, what is the best way to mount the aftermarket guages? Would I use the old retaining back that was originally on it?

Thanks.

This has been covered several times and a search will help you locate the type of gages that will fit. I know of several people that have “how to “sections on there personal site the search will give you these as well.
