Unfortunately, it is no longer truly a GT500, but if the VIN is correct and it started life as a GT500, its certainly worth the $$$. The amount of money to put it back into original type condition (and bringing it to the associated value) will be extensive. That being said, it certainly looks like a very nice car for the price, even if not a "TRUE" Gt500! I'd snap it up QUICK, as any running/driveable 67 Fastback is worth $20K (and then some) in a heartbeat!
My $.02,
Gene

nice looking car, figure by the time i build the 390 for mine i will have around$15000
in my 67 ,thats with me doing all the work, i would do a carefull inspection ,frame rails, shody patch panels and such. seems like a fair deal, lets see you build one for that

Am I wrong about this?: Shelby didn't make a 390 GT 500. The 390 was an option in the '67 Mustang GT. So, I can't believe it was a Shelby. I think it's a clone. At that, it does look like a good deal, given the description and pics.

Hmmmm...... Is this a joke, or an internet scam add? I doubt the car is a real Shelby, but even so, it looks like a great deal on a '67 clone to me. Front coil overs, and it appears to have a T-5 as well. If it runs, and drives as good as it looks, I wouldn't waste a second on snapping that up, if the deals for real!

This post is a scam.I did some searching and this guy post on different forums one time and never again. He said somewhere else he the price was $18K. Dont know if hes bored or just likes to see reactions.
iskwezm, i think you hit it on the head. this was posted -monday at 8.05 am. . last seen at 8.52 am. monday, and nothing sense. i dont know about you guys but i am on here constantly . i smell a scam !
