Drivetrain 6R80 to t56 swap

Hey guys new here and to the fox body community I’m considering purchasing a friends notchback that has been coyote swapped with a 6r80 transmission and it runs and drives great as is but unfortunately I love to row gears and would like to immediately do a t56 swap can anyone here help me with what and all I would need to do this swap or what company may make a all in one swap kit everything included ? I do know the car will need to be retuned for the manual transmission as well

If it was me I would piece it all together but I like that part as much as doing the swap. Whatever anyone says be sure to get a Stifflers transmission crossmember.

You could also consider the TKX. Lighter, fits better and people rave about how well it shifts.

I too agree, piece it together.
I can't remember offhand, but i don't think you can add a clutch pedal to the auto pedal box.
Looks like they have standalone clutch pedals, not sure how i feel about that.

I have the TKX and I would like to have the T56 for a better OD than the 0.68 that the TKX has. The T56 with a 0.5 sixth gear would put me at 1950 rpm at 80 mph (our toll roads here have a speed limit of 80 mph) vs the 2650 rpm its at now with the 0.68 5th in the TKX. Its not horrible but not ideal either so I am considering going to 3.31's which would get me down to 2350 rpm at 80 mph. Car is so quick to hit the chip in 1st gear that reducing the rear end gear ratio would not be a bad thing.

Will I ever put a T56 in the car? Doubt it as I don't drive it enough to justify it but the motor is putting out enough torque and hp that it was only a matter of time before it hurt the T5 and it is in really good shape so I made the decision to swap now and not when I was on the side of the road with a blown up T5.

I 100% agree with 2000xp8. Find a manual gear box pedal quadrant, disassemble it, clean it up, paint it, and put new bushings in it. Will save you a lot of headache in the long run.
