Well I got my hands on a freshly rebuilt (under 300 miles) 70's mexican shortblock (supposed to be one of the best?) with forged pistons and all the goodies for around $800. Which was kinda neat...But my question is--this motor is going in my 88 GT and will be FI, will I have any problems with any of the accessories bolting to the right places on the motor or anything? Also should I use 24# injectors or stock? I already have everything to set up for 24# except for the injectors themselves--but I don't want to spend the money if it won't make a real performance gain. What's in the motor: 70's mexican block w/ forged pistons (9.5 CR), milled and ported e7 heads w/ stock valve sizes, ported GT-40 upper and lower (port matched to heads), 1.7RR's, about a .512 lift cam, 70mm TB, 73mm MAF. I think 19lb injectors should be ok...
