I installed a ZEX dry kit with a 75shot (40 jet) and went for a ride. I know it was spraying because I heard it and I also tested it before putting it together. I didn't really feel that much of a kick though.. Maybe I have to take it to the track to see if my time is any better?

Am I doing something wrong?

I even yelled "I'm going fast Mama!"..

...Still nothing happened...

and it could be your leaning out to.. what kind of fule upgrades you have? And you gotta yell MONICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! since you didn't feel anything

When I had the Zex on my '94 I only used the 75hp jet. I didn't feel much of a difference, but when I took it to the track I saw the difference. At an 1/8 mile track my times improved from about 9.60 to 9.14 but that was also with using drag radials which improved my 60 ft time by about .2 alone.

I've never claimed to know a lot about juiced hp :nono:

Heck .. I don't know anything about the stuff :rlaugh:

But ...... are you guys trying to have me believe you can't tell if you got 75 additional horses or not

You spray boys are gonna have to enlighten an old school guy :D

its not like you think it would be....kind of a let down. spraying a 150 kit out of the hole on et streets was pretty uneventful for me......i thought it was going to be crazy violent...NOPE

lol, yeah you can feel it. I didn't really feel it till like my 4 spray. I think cuz i was scared excited all ay once. Maybe he can also just be roasting the tires and thats why,

all the upgrades and mods are in my sig. except for the zex dry nitrous kit with a 75 shot. I've only sprayed 3 times. The 3rd time I felt it a little, but maybe I just have to take it to the track.. Guess I was expecting more?

did you pay mind to bottle pressure???

did you purge???

did you jet correctly???

bc if so, i can pull up 300 pages of guys claiming "insane feel" with u/d pulleys, or tb or intakes BUT you cant feel a 75 shot??????????????????????????????????

man, screw using N20 again, im just investing in some pulleys:p

but on serious note, when i ran nitrous (125 though), it was a world of difference. hmmph.

modern day nitrous kits are very smooth in delivery.

tryin sprayin a 250 through 2 stacked carb'd plates--you really feel that, it's more of a violent hit.

also where you have your nozzle mounted can make a difference. the further from the throttle body the less severe the "hit" will be and vice versa.

upgrade the fuel pump--cheap insurance. 90lph may be enough, but your pump is old and may not flow that much. it may also not be able to keep up with the increased pressure.

dont take this the wrong way but are you sure the nozzle is facing the right way in the intake? when i had the zex 55 shot i made my first dyno pull to the tune of 230.2hp 293.2lb/ft n/a and 280.8hp 361.7lb/ft with the juice. thats a gain of 50.6rwhp and 68.5rwtq. it was a noticeable gain for me. the dyno graph is below.....pulls 1 & 3 were n/a and pull 2 was with the nitrous. basically, in my honest opinion, if you didnt feel anything than something is definitely wrong somewhere.....

Maybe your jet got twisted and is spraying toward the filter...
