75 shot? didn't feel anything.

Never really know til you try it. You can see my gains. But I spray the car half a car length off the line and never let up til I cross the stripe.

Oh, and as for the nozzle pointed the wrong way.... all that does is add a small delay to the punch. Not easy to notice either. I had mine turn on me once. Really didn't have a clue. Probably helped mix it in the air better and cool down my air inlet tube. :)

A 75 shot is fine with the stock pump. I ran a 125shot with the stocker with no PF issues, I did move up to a 190 though just to be safe after a few months when I got a good deal on one.

I never ran the 75shot jets but you SHOULD have felt something even with a dry shot. Buddy has a 5115 N.O.S. dry shot on his 94 Ligtning at 125 shot and there is NO doubt when its hitting.

What did you have your timing set too? Are you sure the noid is not shutting off after a few seconds (sometimes a WOT switch gets funky) or the FP safty switch is not working properly(every one I have seen SUCKS and ends up getting tossed unfortunalty, but a guage was hooked up to make sure the switch was the bad part not the fuel).

On my stock longblock I went from a 14.3 to a 13.1 @ 107 sparying off the line on street tires getting a low 1.9 60ft. I dont have or want a purge so my tires have a second to grab before the "hit".

i totally agree about fp "safety" switches--they usually cause more harm than good. same with rev limiters.

get a good window switch and put a mech guage on the cowl or an elec in the cabin just to keep an eye out for press. drops if your that worried about it. I HIGHLY doubt you will have an issue with the 75-100 shot level if the stock pump is in good shape.

Make sure you set the window to turn off the n2o BEFORE the factory rev. limit, unless you have a tune on the eec to change this, as the stock rev. limit is a fuel shut-off...very very bad as you will be INSTANTLY lean and have a nice backfire.

Yeah, agreed on the rev limit.

Out of the nitrous cars I've worked on (several), mine is the only one I could "really" feel a 75 shot on, and was also the only one with a purge. I put a Compucar kit in a '98 GT 'vert and it was questionable whether or not it was coming on. The 125 was without a doubt coming on, though.

What you need to do is set up an arming switch or a button-type activation. Start accelerating, then hit the switch. You'll feel it then, especially if it's purged.

I spray straight out of the hole, soon as my car launches and my foot hits the floor, it's spraying.

You say you can hear it???? Funny, the only thing I hear is my exhaust getting louder....

I agree in the smoothness of the systems. Both NX kits I have worked with were excellent setups, there are no jerks or big drama with the juice coming on, only a kick in the pants and the car goes faster! lol

i've also seen MSD "soft touch" limiters make boom.

window swtich is a must--bonus if you run an auto is you don't spray through shifts, tends to wear out a trans a tad quicker.

I set up a second wot switch on my clutch pedal, for the same reason. shuts off at the slightest touch of the pedal.:nice:
