79-86 Interior shots, what you got??

Post them up,, looking for ideas for a 86 LX Coupe that needs a new interior.

I still have some more things to do, I made some panels to replace the information center & ash tray with a switch panel and another panel for my boost controller & gauge, I should have it in the car this weekend (along with the shifter). I'm still missing a couple of interior pieces, and I'd like to get some pedals too. I have a new steering wheel I just haven't mounted it yet.

BSTRD, lol, do you have a one speed?

I seen your post in the cage thread, just wondering how much tubing you used?

The cage is a Comp engineering kit, it comes with a main hoop and a bunch of tubes that are fishmouthed on one end and you cut the other end to fit. I haven't messed with mounting the shifter because I just threw an empty block with the trans on it to mockup all my turbo stuff. Then I'm pulling it all back out to paint the underhood area & install the real deal.

Hey Bstrd86. What material did you use on that console to replace the dummy light cluster that used to be there? That's exactly what I want to do to my console. Obviously the top is carbon fiber looking, but how'd you make the insert etc?

The panel itself is actually made out of aluminum with threaded spacers that go back to the tabs that information center originally bolted to. I countersunk the screw holes on the panel so I could epoxy the carbon fiber over them so it would match the dash.

wow your quick...no its not stock we made it so we would have a cup holder. the org one we still have but it was ****ed up.yeah its dirty those pictures are from when it was sitting for winter storage in the back of the garage.

Seats backs and carpet does not get greasy from sitting in storage.. Thats also a gt interior.. He asked for a coupe..

Its also called cleaner ... My interior is from 1985 and i keep it cleaner than that.. Also i know its a Gt interior.. I had that interior in my old mustang before you even hit puberty.. I said he asked for Pics of Coupe interior..
