Been lurking for years but have never had an account here. Always hung out around Corral but it seems to be almost dead anymore. Started this project back in Nov of last year. I have owned around 20 Foxes through the years but took a break when my second son was born and did the Jeep thing for a while. I got the bug when we started my oldest sons build (03 Mustang) so I picked up this 79 Capri. Never had a Capri but always wanted one and this one was priced right and didn't have much rust. Anyway I will be uploading more pics of the progress.

Started blowing it apart and ran across the rusted/mangled lower radiator support, quick call to Team Z for a tubular replacement and some cutting and welding took care of that

Caught a cold rainy day and blew the interior apart and started laying down the sound deading

Got bored on a business trip and ordered up some more Team Z pieces and they were waiting on me when I got in.

Scored a 8.8 out of a 95 Gt on Craigslist...3.08's and aftermarket axles.

After months of looking for a descent Capri bumper I ran across a deal on a 82 Gt and couldn't pass it up. Got the pieces mocked up to the Capri fenders to check the fit. A little rough around the edges but I can make it work.

Small change of plans on the power plant.... This is where the PsychoBilly parts starts. It will be LS powered with a single turbo...

Swapped in the 86 Gt taillights

Spindles and Team Z bumpsteer kit showed up! Put them in and now waiting on rims and tires to get it rolling

On a side note, what are you doing with the Capri tail lights if you still have them?

I have them but they are rough. Some Yahoo screwed wood screws into the housings and the screw was too long and the tip came through the lense.
