Ok, I take it back! I looked at the ad - that one's a bit of a hot mess for that, I'd say it's somewhere in the 2-3 range....

Still, not horrible if the uni-body is in good shape. The rest of the mechanicals appear to at least be present.

I think there are gems in any price range, depending on what you're looking for.

Maybe a re-title is in order like you said though. What they're worth or something to that effect would probably be a good title.... Everyone has different criteria

What I tend to see most of are people looking for cars that run and drive but need stuff. To me that means it needs to at least be able to pass inspection for whatever State it's going to be registered. We all know easy it is to find Fox Bodies that won't. LoL

True. I mean I bought my vert for around $2k because it was rust free (except that spot that was hidden with that gawd awful aftermarket chrome wheel lip trim...) and appeared to be mechanically untouched. I'd consider this one for around that price range if it was straight underneath and relatively rust free. Mechanical issues are easier to deal with for me.

Yep. Particularly when the parts that are missing are things you'd have likely swapped anyway.

There's couple of good threads in Fox forum about guys who bought decent Fox bodies then ripped out and replaced all the wear items including springs and down the line.

It's a pretty good pile of parts. and this is on a [good] car.

Now since you guys are going on a bit about what its worth and over priced cars here is an example, in my opinion, of a sad old fox that is way over priced even for the bottom of the price range.

https://www.facebook.com/View: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/794325941032959/

Yes, it's asking price is $1,200, BUT its in terrible condition, missing half the engine, beat to hell and back, holes cut in the rear bumper cover, and who knows what else is wrong with it. I'd maybe be in the $500 range for this car, but really I would only be interested in this car if it was free. Even then it might be more trouble than it would be worth to go get the thing.

This is a little above the mark, but it looks like a nice car. I dont see $8,500 though.

I've got what looks like a good one this time! Appears to be factory, but no under the hood pics. Depending on the paint 6K might be on the high side, but if its solid and unmolested it sure would be tempting! I've always like this color combo as well, so that might sway my opinion.

Green must be the color of the day! Here's a new one in the Atlanta list for $13.5k. I really like it too - all except the mufflers, they'd have to be swapped and have LX tail pipes installed. Still rich for my blood though.....

Remember that car on the second page that I posted? The owner claims it has 37k miles but can't prove it with an asking price of $7500? It's still on the list and they're still after $7500. All I can think to ask is what's up with those tail lights?!!

1989 mustang cant prove but car only has 37k miles - barter - trade...

garaged till 2012 with 9k repaired trans now has 37k with new lifetime warranty top from atlas...

I would consider that car. I wonder how far they got with the swap and if anything was done correctly. At least its not a carb car. Or, it could be a complete basket case.
