Do these look like the correct style for your car? Only damage on them is a couple screw holes on each that dont appear factory. You can have them for whatever the cost of shipping is from 52302 to where ever you want them shipped.

I'll compare them to mine once I get to work to make sure they're the same. Thanks again for the offer Nick.

Small note, I cleaned one of the tops with some 0000 steel wool and glass cleaner. It looks so nice now! Man I want to drive this little car!
The yard owner will replace the left one (the dirty one in the picture). It has a chip on the edge.

Forget whatever sillyness you were considering for the motor. A cheap rebuild of a 302 will at least give that T-top the rumble it deserves.

Thats pretty cool of the dude to trade out a bad T top. Is he happy that you are restoring a car he has been staring at for 15 years?

He really is. He may not be as excited as me, but he's pretty into it.

I keep seeing that '58 ranchero he has there in my dreams. May be the next project one day if I can talk him out of it. I think when I'm out there swapping t-tops, I'm going to give it a good looking over. I'll get pictures.

That does look like a sweet car. You cant beat the old styling from the 50's.

I am sure you probably could... It would just cost a LOT of money to get custom glass made.

Speaking of t-top stuff. I got the trim finished up today. A close up with my sun light again to show the grey.

Hey Nick, he does have an '85 GT t-top he's parting out......just sayin'.....I guess I should focus on this one first.

That's a TV show in the making. Guy finds abandoned junkyard...and restores them all...and sells them at Barret Jackson for umpteen thousands of dollars. All while drinking weird beers and having friends that sit around with boxes on their heads.

So I did something beyond drinking today.......no......really......

I sanded the areas of the IP that need texturing and sprayed the rocker chip guard.

Next week I will paint it.
