87-93 vs 94-04 shock/strut height difference

I have heard it is a good idea to go with fox body (87-93) shocks and struts due to their shorter length on a lowered Mustangs. Is this true? How much shorter are the fox body shocks/struts compared to the SN-95's (94-04)? I am lowering my car by 1" to 1.5". I will be ordering Bilsteins today and need to know which ones I should go with.

Bilstein heavy duty shocks/struts are designed for lowered cars, so just buy the ones for the 94-04 stang. thats what I have on my car... and if they ever break, lifetime warranty fixes all!
